After studying graphic arts, he moved to advertising, an area in which he worked for fifteen years as an artistic director within parisian communication agencies. In 2002 he put his career in parentheses to travel for a year around the world: India, South-East Asia, South America. After a brief return to the advertising world, he became self-employed in 2006 as a freelance artistic director and photographer. He is now a full-time freelance photographer and works on news reports, portraits, advertising, and editorial work. He teaches photography at the Institute of Applied Arts of Nantes and regularly goes to Senegal where he develops his artistic projects.
