David Moritz is interested in the overlapping moments of different aspects in experiencing architecture. His work is about designing and building temporary architecture, on the one hand with constructLab in the socio-cultural context, as well as in the field of brand-architecture with rocknrollarchitecture. Additionally he is teaching architectural design and construction at the technical university in Cottbus. A special interest hereby are experimental 1:1 projects giving the students the possibility to experience the building process for themselves, besides finding out new construction methods. Process orientated workshop formats bring a dense knowledge gain, as well as a valuable social experiences for all participants. To combine semester projects with research at the university as well as with constructLab projects are a preferred form of bringing everything together and his main focus in the next years.
